Exciting opportunity for unsigned acts

A new community television programme promises to focus on independent artists and bands and is looking for YOU to get involved. Dublin Community Television (DCTV) in partnership with First Music Contact are bringing 6 Minutes Of Independents, a new project that aims to explore the state of independent music in Ireland, to the screen later this year.

Applications are now open to be a part of this exciting new project. Six bands will be selected and wlll then become the subject of a six-minute profile on the show. DCTV will then invite them to perform at a gig in Whelan's in September. DCTV will film the gig and make a performance and interview video which will be broadcast on the station to 500,000 homes nationwide as well as being made available for promotional use on the band's website.
