Ya can’t beat a bit of Philly as yer man on Bullseye used to say. Or did he? Anyway, this is the Belfast whiz’s first outing on Electrix and – although it ain’t the best ting he’s ever done – fits perfectly with the label’s output. ‘146 Ways’ and ‘Strings On The Hill’ are twitchy, electro things with soaring chords and manic hi-end action, while the interesting ‘Red Controller’ pushes things a little bit more with some stabby, almost lo-fi German action.
