Eminem for Tennent's Vital festival
Eminem has been confirmed as the first headlining turn at the Tennent’s Vital festival, which is back after a three-year break and taking place for the first time in Bangor’s Ward Park where Snow Patrol have previously played two 40,000-capacity homecoming shows.
The rapper, who’s sold a staggering 86 million albums, appears on Wednesday August 24 with a full supporting cast that will be unveiled shortly.
Tickets are £49.50 and go on general sale on Friday June 3. Pre-sales for the August 23 and 24 bash are accessible via [link]www.facebook.com/tennentsvital[/link]
Launched in 2002, the bash was initially staged in Belfast’s Botanic Gardens then moved to nearby Ormeau Park where Hot Press recalls a very pleasant evening helping Snow Patrol and Editors to polish off their riders.
