Fizzy Orange to headline 'LOVE PEACE HATE WAR' benefit gig
The gig is set to take place at Annesley House, Dublin on May 31
Fizzy Orange, DASH and Bold Boy are set to headline a night of music in support of the campaign group, Dublin 3 for Neutrality.
The event will take place on Friday, May 29 at 7:30pm in the Annesley House, Dublin.
This is the second iteration of the Love Peace Hate War gig series following a performance from The Prongs, Dash and Tony St Ledger on March 29.
Dublin 3 for Neutrality is a community group made up of local activists campaigning to defend Irish neutrality.
The group have held local stalls, fundraising gigs, and have engaged in community outreach to support their advocacy efforts against government policy.
The ‘LOVE PEACE HATE WAR’ gig coincides with the 85th anniversary of the North Strand Bombings of May 31, 1941, when four bombs were dropped on Dublin's North Strand by the German Luftwaffe during the Second World War killing 28 people.
"Neutrality strengthens Irish sovereignty and independence," the group said in a statement.
"Irish people overwhelmingly support neutrality and the triple lock. We have a proud tradition of Irish peacekeepers and Ireland is respected worldwide as a voice of diplomacy and peace."
Tickets for the event are available here.
