Ed Sheeran surpasses chart-toppers Clean Bandit

Unsurprisingly, Ed Sheeran found himself at the top of the Irish charts this week, with both his new singles at spots one and two. "Shape of You" clocked in at number one, with "Castle on the Hill" right behind. This wasn't exactly unexpected, given that in the past week Sheeran also broke the Spotify streaming record that had been previously held by Adele's "Hello."
"Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" knocked down the previously-reigning track "Rockabye" by Clean Bandit, which is listed at the number three spot this week. Also in the top ten are The Weeknd with "Starboy" and James Arthur with "Say You Won't Let Go," which is celebrating its eighteenth week on the charts.
