Ed Sheeran hits top of the US iTunes chart
The singer-songwriter has been tweeting with delight.
Just released today in the good ol' US of A, Ed Sheeran's + has repeated its Irish and UK success and gone straight in at No. 1 on the iTunes chart Stateside. In the process, the flame-haired artist with Irish roots fended off competition from Usher's new album Looking For Myself.
From the man himself comes this Twitter message to his fans: "Oh my word!! My album is -#1 on USA iTunes!,!,!! so happy right now. And Canada!,!,!, Getting emotional right now, gonna eat some nachos."
He's earned them.
