Ed Sheeran clarifies he hasn't 'quit' Twitter
Looks like it was a false alarm.
Ed Sheeran has called recent reports that he stopped using Twitter because of too many hateful comments "loads of Hoo-har."
In a recent Instagram post the singer wrote "I haven't quit anything, I'm just not reading anything, except Harry Potter."
Earlier this week Sheeran announced that he had logged off the social media site, saying it was loaded with negativity. He referenced a slew of mean comments from Lady Gaga fans after they misinterpreted something he said in an interview.

Lady Gaga later stepped up to defend the UK singer, posting to Instagram "[Ed Sheeran] deserves all our love and respect like all humans do."
Sheeran will be playing seven shows across Ireland in May 2018. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, July 8.
