Eazy Tiger: Earn Your Stripes
Rollicking good-times from Hard rock crew
Eazy does it! Hell, there’s hardly time to lick your lips before ‘Bone’ is tossed in front of you, accompanied by a barrage of pounding drums, sharp riffage and catchy choruses.
That opening number sets the tone for what turns out to be a fun and hook-infused record. Eazy Tyger is a beast with varied stripes: from Motörhead and Guns N’ Roses to Mötley Crue and Foo Fighters.
Thing is, Earn Your Stripes rarely lets up. With their fast-paced riffs and sing-a-long choruses, the Dublin four-piece tear through 10 tracks of classic hard rock, replenished with a distinctly modern twist. ‘Round & Round’ is one stripe that catches the eye. With its prowling bass, brash chorus and howling guitar, it has potential radio hit written all over it.
Have they earned their stripes? Put it this way: this is one Tyger that you won’t mind grappling with.
