Dundalk rapper Reggie samples David Keenan's 'El Paso' on new single

Rising rapper Reggie has announced that he would sample fellow Dundalk native David Keenan’s track ‘El Paso’ on his upcoming single.

It marks the follow up to Reggie’s collaboration with Fred again… on a remix of his single ‘Talk Of The Town’, which came out last year, and also dealt with the theme of his native Dundalk.

Announcing the single on Instagram, Reggie wrote: “I’m dedicating my next release to my community and the people that support me.”

Reacting to the news in an Instagram comment, Keenan said he “Wrote 'El Pas'o at 15,” adding that he was “excited to see this new lease of life take shape.”

Reggie was recently selected as one of Hot Press’ Hot For 2026 Chartbuster acts, where he was described as “dynamic and not afraid to be heartfelt when the occasion demands.”

The rapper was also recently announced as part of the lineup for The Road To The Great Escape, the two-day Dublin festival taking place on Monday, May 11, and Tuesday, May 12.
