Le Boom, David Keenan and more announced for TG4 music series Buille

Indie house duo Le Boom, folk singer David Keenan, R&B and afro-pop artist Toshín and alt-pop singer Morgana have been announced as this season’s episode one performances for Buille, a series dedicated to celebrating contemporary Irish music.

Buille is an Irish language music TV show recorded live over six nights at Cyprus Avenue in Cork. It includes live performances and artist interviews.

Produced by Tyrone Productions, the show has been running for three years. It premiered in the spring of 2023 where it was first hosted at Dolan’s Pub in Limerick.

The show is set to feature performances from other rising Irish artists including SexyTadhg, Grooveline, Pebbledash, Tolü Makay and more. The hosts of the show are How to Gael and Today FM broadcaster Louise Cantillon and Grooveline frontman Tarach Ó Snodaigh.

"Buille is a celebration of the incredible wave of musical talent emerging across Ireland right now. We wanted to create a series that captures the atmosphere, excitement and cultural importance of live music while giving artists a platform that feels ambitious, modern and distinctly Irish," Cantillon and Ó Snodaigh said, speaking of the show.

Buille is set to stream on the TG4 Player and TG4’s YouTube channel from July 15 at 8 pm.
