Dublin Oldschool Return To Project Arts Centre
It it the second time the play has been revived since it first began life at last year's Fringe in Bewley's Theatre.
Seldom has a play hit on the levels of love that Dublin Oldschool has released among the young (and not so young) of Dublin. Written by Emmet Kirwan and directed by ThisIsPopBaby's Philip McMahon, never has a play so intimately and hilariously explored the goings on of Dublin nightlife.
Delivered by two brothers, Dublin Oldschool revolves around Jason (Emmet Kirwan) and Daniel (Ian Lloyd Anderson) that bump into each other one random night after being out of contact for years. Jason is an aspiring DJ on a chemically enhanced late night trip throughout Dublin when he stumbles across his brother Daniel, a heroin addict and homeless.
The play combines the best of spoken word as the two brothers reminisce about dance music, family and Dublin.
The play runs from 12 to 16 January. Tickets are priced between €18/€20.
The trailer for the original show's run can be watched below.
