The Original Rudeboys announce intimate show at the Academy

The Original Rudeboys will be back in Dublin.

The Original Rudeboys have announced a new show in Dublin. It will be held at the Academy on Sunday December 28th, 2025. Tickets will go on sale Friday July 4th at 10a.m.

Back in April, The Original Rudeboys made their highly anticipated live return, following a multi-year hiatus, with a major comeback show at the 3Olympia Theatre. The gig sold out in just an hour.

The Original Rudeboys mix acoustic and hip-hop and, in 2013, received the Choice Music Prize for song of the year. The band is well known for their 2012 album This Life and their single 'Stars in My Eyes'.

Their most recent single, 'Burn', was released on June 26th, 2025. Additionally, The Original Rudeboys released three other singles this year; 'Big Boys Don't Cry', 'Stars In My Eyes (Marty Guilfoyle Remix)' and 'Running'.

The band posted a behind the scenes TikTok on June 22nd which featured the making of 'Burn'.

In 2024 The Original Rudeboys released their single 'Fragile'. Before this, the band hadn't put out a song since 2020 when they released five singles.
