Dolores O'Riordan and Andy Rourke project DARK postpone Dublin date
A change in release date – and an unavailable guitarist – sees their Whelan's show shifted to September
D.A.R.K., the unlikely collaboration between Dolores O’Riordan, Andy Rourke and Olé Koretsky, was scheduled to hit Whelan's later this month, but is now on the move.
The Cranberries frontwoman, the bassist of The Smiths and the comparatively unknown New York-based DJ and producer were set to unveil their LP Science Agrees on May 27, but its release has been pushed back to August – and that, coupled with the absence of their regular axeman, has seen their appointment on Wexford St delayed until September 19.
A statement issued today said: “To all our fans we are so sorry to announce that we have to postpone our forthcoming tour until September due to the last minute unavailability of our lead guitarist and the deferral of the release of our debut album until late August. All tickets already purchased will be valid for the relevant rescheduled shows in September. For those of you who cannot make it to our rescheduled shows full refunds will be given. We sincerely regret this and hope to see you at our shows in September.”
