Derek Ryan still dominating Indie Album Charts
The Irish singer-songwriter topped the Indies again in a week that saw Interpol announce themselves straight in at number 2.
The Simple Things by Derek Ryan made a huge splash across the charts last week as it debuted at the summit of the Albums charts and Indie Albums charts. He's still sitting pretty, but has Interpol nipping at his heels; their latest release El Pintor hit number 2 in its first week.
Sinead O'Connor's I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss is still at the business end of the list in third, down from 2nd position last week. Also slipping slightly is Arctic Monkey's 2014 powerhouse AM (5th to 6th) and The Wagon Wheel Show Live by Nathan Carter (4th to 5th).
Adele's 21 incredibly enjoyed its 183rd week in the charts, holding mid-table at number 9. Further down, Kate Bush's Hounds of Love plummeted from 6th to 19th - although it wasn't all bad news; she did have a re-entry with 2011's Director's Cut, which popped back up at number 15.
