Denis O'Brien sells FM104 for €52m
Dublin radio station FM104 is to be sold to the UTV media group for €52m.
Denis O'Brien's Communicorp was previously instructed to sell FM104 by the Competition Authority as its ownership of the station meant the company had an unfairly dominant position in the Dublin radio market.
O'Brien still owns Today FM in Dublin and Donegal's Highland Radio, which he acquired earlier this year along with FM104.
The deal with UTV is subject to approval by the Competition Authority, the BCI and UTV's own shareholders.
UTV already owns Dublin's Q102, as well as several radio stations in Cork, Limerick, Antrim and Louth.
