It was rated 8.5/10 by Hot Press and crowned Album of the Month for May, saying that the “20-track collection vibrates with two decades’ worth of love, care and attention.”
Flannery is set to perform the album in full over two summer evenings in Vicar St., on June 25 and 26.
Speaking to Hot Press’ Will Russell ahead of the special gigs, the musician explained that he was going to perform “as two album launch nights, where we’ll sing through the songbook of the musical with lots of special guests, and with the band that has been on the project the whole time.”
