Debut EP from Scenes Set For September 6th Release
The singer-songwriter recently supported Mundy at his Castleisland show in his home county of Kerry.
The self-titled EP 'Scenes' is scheduled for release on Thursday September 6th. The solo effort of Tralee musician PJ Galvin, Scenes is a guitar-pop act who describes his sound as a prime example of "DIY, bedroom-produced music", which he believes he has captured the essence of in the three-track EP which is his first release.
He's a product of the growing 'DIY LK' scene, a recently-formed group in Limerick who are striving to create an atmosphere in the area where new and creative acts can flourish.
Despite the brevity of the EP, Galvin still aims to demonstrate his versatility on the project, ranging from synth-pop efforts such as 'When I Get Old' to the comparatively stripped-back 'Cold'.
You can listen to a live (from the kitchen table) version of 'When I Get Old' performed by Scenes below.
