Deacon Blue announce 3Arena show for October 2025

Deacon Blue have announced a 3Arena show for October 8 2025, touring the release of their newly announced studio album The Great Western Road.

The Great Western Road is set to be released on March 21 2025, and is available to pre-order now.

Set to be released 40 years after members Ricky Ross and Dougie Vipond met, the album is a reflection of the journey the band has taken together. “It’s just the next part of the adventure and it’s as exciting now as it was back in 1988”, frontman Ricky Ross shared in a statement.

The Great Western Road will be preceded by single ‘Late ’88’ on 29 November 2024, which fondly remembers the origins of the band.

The ‘Real Gone Kid’ hitmakers played Collins Barracks in August as part of their Wider Than Pictures Series.

Ticket prices for Deacon Blue at the 3Arena begin at €44.20 and will go on-sale this Friday November 29 at 10am, from ticketmaster.ie
