David Nicholls joins Irish stars for Words On The Street 2016
The event, taking place as part of European Literature Night, will hit familiar spots around Temple Bar
Next week will see David Nicholls, the renowned author of One Day and Us, join a host of familiar Irish faces to take part in Words On The Street 2016.
The event, part of the European Literature Night celebrations, will see free readings take place in various spots across Temple Bar, with Steve Wall, Cormac Battle, Elaine Crowley, Ruth Scott, Fiachna Ó Braonáin, & Louise McSharry among the local contributors to proceedings.
Organised by Dublin City Council Public Libraries, the night allows Dubliners and visitors to the city to sample contemporary European writing, with readings of 10 minute durations running from 6.30pm.
Locations set to be used include Smock Alley Theatre, City Hall, The Liquor Rooms, National Photographic Archive, Gutter Book Shop, The Fringe Lab and The Button Factory.
