David Kitt records covers album
Kittser fans can get excited about things to come in 2004
Not content with riding out the year on the successful wave of his best-selling Square 1 album, David Kitt is already onto his next project.
Speaking recently to hotpress.com, the Kittser revealed, "I’m on the process of recording a new album which is going to be a covers album. Most of it will be recorded at home and it will be a more lo-fi sound."
"In a way, it’s something to keep me occupied and to use other people’s songs to try out new ideas," he continued. "I’m really excited about that and hopefully it should be out before the summer. It’s going to be a busy year."
But he’s still got his work cut out in 2003. Kitt continues his nationwide tour, stopping into Drogheda tonight and continuing with gigs in Naas (Dec 5), Dublin (Dec 8) and Galway (Dec 10). Check What’s On for more information.
