Darkness on the edge of town
They came, they saw and they rocked like bastards!
Yup, The Darkness at RDS were every bit as wondrous as we knew they'd be. And more! Before taking to the stage in all his tiger-catsuited glory, mainman Justin Hawkins was submitted to a thorough Hot Press Mixed Grill-ing. Genital warts, cherry popping and 16-year-old groupies were all discussed in a no holds – or should that be holes? – barred interview. Stay tuned to hotpress.com over the next few weeks for all the gory details!
Meanwhile, The Phantom was backstage at the RDS to witness the meeting between The Darkness and Thin Lizzy art man Jim Fitzpatrick. Hooked up by mutual friend Tim Wheeler, who got Jim to design the artwork for Ash's Free All Angels, it appears that the two parties will be collaborating together in the near future. You read it here first!
