A full 14 years on from the release of his last album, the magnificent Voodoo, neo soul icon D'Angelo has shocked fans by dropping the follow-up with little warning.
In the early hours of the morning, his third LP, entitled Black Messiah and attributed to D'Angelo And The Vanguard, appeared on iTunes and Spotify.
