Baltimore-dance oddball to play August 5 instead
Electro-experimentalist Dan Deacon has been forced to reschedule his upcoming Sunday night, May 8 date at the Button Factory due to travel problems. But fear not Dubliners, the man will return to play the Curved Street venue later this summer on August 5. Original tickets are valid and in a supremely quick turnaround, tickets for the rescheduled date are already on sale from [link]www.tickets.ie[/link].
Deacon is known for his incredible live show which incorporates crowd intercation like you've probably never seen. Read Ann Sexton's HP review of Deacon's last Irish show here.
"The highlight of the evening comes when he asks the crowd to form a human tunnel. As more and more people join in, the tunnel sneaks out the door and around the corner. It’s all great fun, with everyone getting into the spirit, whooping and cheering. It’s one of those gig-going moments you don’t forget in a hurry."
