Cut Copy for Dublin
They'll be giving their new album a live airing in the Button Factory.
Following on from last year’s sell-out in The Village, Australian electro-poppers Cut Copy return to Dublin on July 20 for a show in the Button Factory. Tickets go on sale on Thursday March 18 priced €22.50.
As for a follow up to 2008’s In Ghost Colours, a band communiqué reveals that, “We’ve been camped out in a warehouse on the outskirts of Melbourne, finishing writing and recording for album number three.”
It also transpires that mainman Dan Whitford “spent the majority of 2009 recreating the Blade Runner soundtrack on his recently acquired CS-80 synthesizer, note for note, arpeggio for arpeggio. Hopefully his interpretation of Vangelis’ masterpiece will eventually see the light of day.”
