Cut Chemist for Button Factory
The legendary DJ/Jurassic 5 man will play in here in July
Scratch DJ Cut Chemist has announced he will visit Dublin for a one-off show in the Button Factory on July 15.
The gig, organised by ChoiceCuts, will see the Jurassic 5 co-founder play a live set with support from DJ Tu-ki.
Cut Chemist's latest project saw him dabble with a new DJing technique - and the Sound of the Police mix was the resulting fruit of his labours. Here, he used just one turntable, a mixer, a loop pedal, and all original vinyl pressings of Ethiopian, Colombian, Sudanese and Afro-Brazilian music. Cut says: "Hip Hop is not a specific type of music, it's how it's presented. I feel I’ve always proved that and will continue to do so."
Tickets for the show, priced €20, are available now from [link]www.tickets.ie www.ticketmaster.ie[/link]
