Corr reaches debt agreement
Jim Corr has reached an agreement over €1.4 million owed to ACC Bank.
The Dundalk-native appeared before the High Court today for a cross-examination by ACC Bank as part of the bank’s efforts to recover an unpaid loan of up to €1.4 million.
The drummer had invested the money into property, purchasing 94 acres of land in Kilkenny as part of a business partnership and he re-appeared in court this morning to explain what happened to some €4 million believed to have been held in several bank accounts six years ago.
Before entering court this morning, Mr. Corr made proposals to Bernard Dunleavy BL, for ACC, and after a brief discussion, Mr. Dunleavy informed the judge that an agreement had been reached in principle.
The court is now adjourned until later this afternoon when said agreement will be put into writing.
