Bling bling alert: hip hop star Common descends upon The Village this July
Never mind Eminem, we have a sneaking suspicion that the hip hop gig of the year is going to be on July 15 when Common swings by The Village.
Known to the IRS as Lonnie Rashied Lunn, he'll be plugging his multi-platinum Electric Circus album which features contributions from Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, The Neptunes, Prince, Jill Scott and Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier.
Tickets priced €25 are on sale now.
Rap fans should also keep a window free in their FiloFax for Blackalicious who are in the Dublin venue on June 28. The Californians are supported by Irish DMC champ Tu-Ki and Lisa Dee & Cool C and The Gudmen.
