Richie Havens does his legendary folk thing at Whelan's on March 29.

A graduate of the same Greenwich Village scene as Bob Dylan, Havens was one of the big hits at Woodstock and went on to record such classic albums as Electric Havens, Portfolio and Common Ground.

He's still at it with 2002's Wishing Well collection finding him in the chipperest of form.
