CMAT to perform Newport Folk Festival

CMAT has been announced as a part of the 2026 Newport Folk Festival lineup.

Established in 1959, Newport Folk Festival is held annually at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island. The festival is known for its eco-conscious bent and history of protest.

Its lineup is revealed on a rolling basis up until the show dates, and unannounced surprise acts often take the stage. The festival routinely sells out before its lineup is announced.

This year's Newport Folk Festival will run from Friday, July 24, to Sunday, July 26.

CMAT will perform on the festival's final day. This will be the Dunboyne pop musician's first appearance at the festival.

Other performers at this year's Newport Folk Festival include Ms. Lauryn Hill, Hayley Williams, Gillian Welch, and Lizzie McAlpine, with more act announcements to come.
