CMAT, Grian Chatten and Jordan Adetunji feature on Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list
The list includes 10 categories, including Social Impact, Retail & Ecommerce, Technology, Sports & Games, Science & Healthcare, Media & Marketing, Art & Culture, Manufacturing & Industry and Finance.
Irish musicians CMAT, Grian Chatten and Jordan Adetunji have been featured on Forbes magazine’s 30 Under 30 Europe list.
The list highlights stars who are "redefining industries" and "shaping the future of Europe and the world.” Also included on the Entertainment list was Irish writer and director Ronan Corrigan. Among the judges were singer-songwriter Sam Smith and Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee.
"Grian Chatten, frontman of Irish band Fontaines D.C., remains one of the most compelling voices in contemporary rock," wrote Forbes.
The magazine also gave a shout-out to Adetunji’s song ‘KEHLANI,’ which topped the UK Hip Hop/R&B charts, reached No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart, went platinum in the US and led to a remix featuring Kehlani herself.
On CMAT, Forbes wrote, “Her debut, If My Wife New I'd Be Dead, claimed RTÉ's Choice Music Prize, showcasing her knack for wrapping humour in sunlit melodies. Need proof? Look no further than her riotous 2025 Jools Holland's Hootenanny performance, where she turned breakup anthem 'Have Fun!' into a big band celebration."
Previous Irish stars featured on the list include actors Saoirse Ronan and Alisha Weir and singer-songwriter Hozier.
"As we celebrate the tenth edition of Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe, Forbes recognises the incredible achievements of young innovators shaping the future of this region and beyond, especially during a time of rapid cultural and technological change,” said Forbes Associate Editor Alexandra York. "This year's honourees are breaking boundaries and tackling new challenges with innovation, resilience, and bold ideas.”
