Cian Ducrot announces sophomore album Little Dreaming
"It’s not an overstatement to say making the record has changed my life," says the French-Irish singer-songwriter.
Cian Ducrot has announced his highly-anticipated second album, Little Dreaming, set for release on July 11 via Polydore Records.
The new record is a follow-up to his 2023 debut LP Victory, which hit number one on both UK and Irish charts.
"This album has been a crazy journey, it was an absolutely amazing experience," Ducrot said. "I set out to just be as creative and as free and as expressive as possible, and I think we've done that."
Alongside the announcement, the Cork-native revealed a music video for the album's title single, featuring Lola Petticrew and Hazel Doupe.
"I love how theatrical this one turned out, it feels reflective of my personality," he said. "It's about reconnecting with your inner child but also, as an adult, doing what you want, expressing yourself and not caring what anyone else thinks."
Later this year, Ducrot will perform live at Cork's Marquee on July 19 and 20, followed by a UK and Europe tour closing out with a 3Arena show in Dublin on December 20.
Since his debut in 2021, the Irish-French musician has amassed a large following, with over one billion global streams and sold out stadium gigs.
Earlier this month, Ducrot sang both the Irish and French National Anthems at the Six Nations match between Ireland and France at the Aviva Stadium.
In February, he celebrated his first Grammy win for his work on SZA's 'Saturn', which won Best R&B Song.
Little Dreaming is available for pre-order, find more information here.
