Christy Moore announces Vicar Street concert in Support of Women's Aid
Tickets go on sale Thursday, January 29, at 9 am.
Christy Moore has announced a concert on March 8 at Vicar Street, Dublin.
Proceeds from the show, which celebrates 115 years of International Women's Day, will go towards Women's Aid, a national organisation that works to prevent and address the impact of domestic violence and abuse.
Founded in 1974, Women's Aid advocates, influences, trains and campaigns for effective responses to reduce the scale of impacts of domestic abuse on women and children, and it also provides high-quality, specialised, integrated support services.
Moore will also be performing at the seventh edition of All Together Now, which will be his first festival performance in 14 years.
Elsewhere, the folk singer recently released A Terrible Beauty - The Expanded Edition. The record, built on the 2024 album A Terrible Beauty, featured 5 additional tracks and a spoken word tribute to former President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins.
Tickets will be available here on January 29 at 9 am.
