Christy Moore has released A Terrible Beauty – the Expanded Edition.
The record, building off of last year's chat-topping A Terrible Beauty, features five additional tracks, including the spoken word tribute to Michael D. Higgins 'Music To Our Ears'.
Written by poet Johnny Broderick, the poem celebrates of the life and legacy of the former president.
“I think it is a beautiful tribute to our esteemed President and His Family," said Moore. "I think Johnny B’s words express what many of us feel about Michael D. and, Our First Lady, Sabina”.
Released last November, A Terrible Beauty reached No. 1 on the Official Irish Album Charts and became the singer's first No. 1 album in seven years. The record arrived 56 years after the release of Moore's debut album Paddy On The Road.
The artist is set to perform at Dublin's Vicar Street on November 17 and 24, December 2, 8 and 15, February 18 and 26, and finally on March 2 and 19.
Additionally, he will perform at the Nation Concert Hall on April 25, May 2, 17 and 30 and June 5 and 27, 2026.
