Cherub Rock

SMASHING PUMPKINS: "Cherub Rock" (Nut)

No doubt, it's blasphemy but the repetitive guitar riffs and frail vocals of The Smashing Pumpkins can lead me to associations with that most unhip of bands, Status Quo. Doubtless, I'm unfair but once you're not distracted by the Nineties mannerisms and outward trappings of "Cherub Rock", that's only a rather ordinary rock song on display.
