Chance The Rapper reveals release date, title and cover of his debut album
He finally made the announcement
Much secrecy surrounded Chance The Rapper's debut album. On the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon yesterday, he revealed not only the cover art of the record but also the title and the release date: Chance The Rapper's debut album The Big Day comes out on July 26th.

The announcement came after the rapper made a deal with the talk show host: If Fallon pre-orders Chance The Rapper's album, he will reveal the release date and the title of the record.

Chance The Rapper also mentions that The Big Day will be the first record that he sells. Previous mixtapes like Acid Rap and 10 Day - that were made available on streaming services in June of this year - were distributed for free.
The rapper was set to headline this year's Longitude Festival but pulled out. Stormzy took over for him, stating during his show: "I'm so happy Chance The Rapper couldn't make it!".
