Castlepalooza band winners announced

Some time ago HOTPRESS launched the 'Your Band at Palooza' competition to search for a band to play at Ireland's most sumptuous festival, Castle Palooza at Charleville Castle, Tullamore, Co, Meath on the August Bank Holiday.

Hot Press HQ was flooded with entries with more than 100 bands entering the competition. It was a mammoth task for the panel of judges who listened to all the entries at length, and the decision was an extremely difficult one.
Given the extremely high standard of acts, it was a tough and time-consuming task. In fact, given the number of entrants and the high standard, the judges ended up picking TWO winners! So after much deliberation, discussion and debate, the winners are: THE GORGEOUS COLOURS and THE CHAKRAS!
The bands will play on the Hot Press slot on the Main Stage, Sunday August 6 between 5pm and 6pm.
