Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney to write and direct a new Heart biopic

Sleater-Kinney member Carrie Brownstein is writing and directing a new biopic about Heart for Amazon. The news was revealed by Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson on a Sirius XM show called 'Volume West'.
According to Wilson, the roles of her and her sister Nancy have not yet been cast, but Brownstein is currently in the process of writing the script.
Another project of Brownstein's – The Nowhere Inn, written with St. Vincent's Annie Clark – was selected for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Brownstein is also one of the stars from the hit show Portlandia.
