Camogie Lovers win Limerick JD Set heat
Camogie Lovers emerged victorious on Friday after The JD Set descended on Limerick’s Trinity Rooms for heats that also included Last Days Of Death Country, Nick Carswell, Neon Stars, VIC and Roadrunner.
Camogie Lovers – you can get arrested for that sort of thing, you know – have a lazy C&W vibe, which can be sampled at www.myspace.com/littleredrivermusic.
The band were given the nod by a panel of judges that included Hot Press’ Olaf Tyaransen, Limerick Live 95’s Alan Jacques and a representative from Jack Daniel’s.
The JD Set now travels to Galway for March 26 and 27 March heats in The Quays.
