Brendan Gleeson cast in new HBO series
Gleeson plays the part of a wealthy media mogul in new American TV show, The Money.
The Money revolves around two things: wealth and corruption. Gleeson seeks to expand his media company while also maintaining control of his family.
Gleeson's diverse resume includes roles in blockbusters like the Harry Potter movies and Mission: Impossible II.
The Money, should the pilot prove to be a success, will mark the actor's return to U.S. television.The veteran actor won an Emmy in 2009 for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in the HBO TV movie, Into The Storm.

David Milch's The Money is the latest drama project for HBO. Milch was the creator behind the ill-fated 2012 horse racing drama Luck and hit Western Deadwood.
