Black Sherif has announced a headline show at The Academy in Dublin on May 5, 2025.
The Ghanaian artist is known for his distinctive blend of genres - including highlife, afro-fusion, UK drill, hip hop, dancehall, and trap.
Capable of performing in English as well as native tongue, Twi, Sherif had his breakthrough on 2022 following the release of his drill-inspired hit 'Kwaku the Traveller.' The track debuted at No. 1 in the official Nigerian charts, No. 2 in the UK Official Afrobeats Chart, and No. 5 in the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart.
His debut album, The Villain I Never Was, was released in 2022. It was entirely self-written save for one track, the 'Second Sermon' remix, which features writing credits from co-artist Burna Boy.
Sherif's sophomore album, IRON BOY, is set for release on April 3 of this year. The album's latest single, 'So it Goes,' with Nigerian artist Fireboy DML, currently sits at No. 1 of Ghana's Apple Music Top 100.
Tickets for Black Sherif's upcoming Dublin show start at €28 and go on sale on Friday, February 21, at 10:00am. For more information, click here.
