Billie Eilish to take part in An Oral History of The Office podcast alongside Steve Carell, Ricky Gervais, Rainn Wilson
Hosted by Brian Baumgartner and featuring John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey and more.
US pop star Billie Eilish will join numerous stars of the US and UK versions of The Office in a brand new podcast on the hit comedy show.
Entitled An Oral History of the Office, the 12-part series will cover all facets of the show chronologically, from its origins and classic storylines to favourite moments from over the years.
The Office eventually ran for nine seasons from 2005-13 and was Emmy-nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series six years in a row, winning for Season 2 in 2006.
According to Entertainment Weekly, actor Brian Baumgartner (who played Kevin Malone in the US version) will host the podcast.
Baumgartner will chat to stars Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey and more in detail about their time on The Office and behind-the-scenes facts.
Fischer and Kinsey currently host a rewatch podcast, Office Ladies, focusing on individual episodes for each instalment of the discussion.
Eilish has long spoken about her obsession with show, and will participate in one episode.
“I just finished watching The Office for a 15th time two days ago,” the singer told Rainn Wilson in May on his SoulPancake Instagram account.
The first three episodes of An Oral History of the Office will be released on Tuesday July 14 on Spotify.
Following the premiere, every Tuesday will see the release of the new episode.
The Office remains one of the world’s most-streamed series.
