Berk alert
Buy Berkeley's album: they'll give you free tickets to their gig...
With a collection of fawning UK press reviews tucked tidily under their belt, Donegal noiseniks Berkeley underline their next big thing status with the unveiling of their debut album, Hope Prayers And Bubblegum, at an in-store gig at Tower Records, Wicklow St., Dublin, this afternoon (Tuesday Feb 25) at 5.30pm.
The in-store will be followed by a rock-‘til-you-drop headliner at Whelan’s tonight, tickets for which can be blagged for nothing (free/gratis/nada) by flashing your pre-purchased copy of Berkeley’s LP at the lovely people on the door. (For non-album holders, it’s money as usual).
The boys then embark on an extensive nationwide tour: Virgin Megastore, Grand Parade, Cork – In-store, 1.30pm (Feb 26), LV, McCurtain St, Cork (26), The Dungloe Bar, Derry (27 – not 28 as previously advertised), McGarrigles, Sligo (March 1), The Stables, Mullingar (8).
