Bands: get your video made - last call
Got a song? Want a video made for it, and have it appear on The Last Broadcast?
Hot Press's search for Irish music talent to have a music video directed and produced (at no cost) by film students from the Tisch School of Performing Arts at New York University is coming to an end at the end of the week.
Plenty of bands have already applied, but there's still time to get your entries in.
Winners will have an opportunity to collaborate with some of the finest US film school talent on making a professional music video that can be used for screening and for promotional purposes.
As an added bonus, Dave Fanning will pick his favourite five to play on The Last Broadcast.
Previous winners have included Juliet Turner, Delorentos, Republic of Loose, La Rocca, Julie Feeney, The Radio, Alphastates, Juno Falls, The Rags and many more.
To enter:
1. Submit a recording of the track(s) you believe deserves to have a music video
2. Send a picture of the applicant-band/artist
3. Give us a brief biography in no more than 250 words - your musical direction, your history and why you think a music video should be produced for your track
Closing date for entries is Friday, 29 September. Entries can be sent by email or post to: [email protected] or ‘See Your Music In Motion’, Hot Press, 13 Trinity St, Dublin 2.
