Ballyfermot’s Got Talent
The College announces gig on November 16 for local bands…
Here to save students from a withering social life, Ballyfermot College of Further Education have just announced their first gig to kick start the year. With a none too shabby line-up of young talented things, it should be a great night – and it’s only a fiver.
Storyfold will be headlining, fresh from supporting Feeder at the Dublin Academy. They’ve just released a new album and are sneaking onto the radiowaves, too – so catch them before they disappear into the mainstream. Also attracting some due attention are five-piece indie rockers Stoney Brokes – winner of the Noise Battle of the Bands 2010 – and Broken Glass on Broadway. Completing the night will be Champagne Animal, with additional slots from brand new acts Red Sail, Elk, Future Phantoms, Mur Mur, and Dublin hip-hop group The Animators.
Tickets are on sale now for €5 from the BCFE student union, or €10 on the door. The gig will be held at Lafayette Cafe Bar on Westmoreland Street, Dublin.
