Ricky Warwick celebrates big week on UK charts
The Co. Down-raised rocker embarks on a headline tour of Ireland and the UK in November
Following the release of his new album, Fire & Vengeance, Ricky Warwick is celebrating a big week on the UK charts – having debuted at No.2 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart. The LP has also shot straight to No.28 on the UK's overall Official Albums Chart, No.8 on the Official Albums Sales Chart, and No.15 on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart.
"Thank you to every single one of you who bought, downloaded or streamed the album," the Co. Down-raised musician posted on social media in response to the news. "Your support means the world to me. I hope you’re digging the record!"
Fire & Vengeance – released on Friday, September 4, via Nottingham-based independent label Earache Records – features special guest appearances from the likes of Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake / The Dead Daisies), Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke) and Darren Holden (The High Kings).
“I wanted to make an album that captures everything I love about rock’n’roll – its power to bring people together, to make us dance and connect with one another, even in a world that often feels consumed by fire and vengeance," he says of the album. "At its core, this record is about finding hope and unity in the chaos.”

Fire & Vengeance follows last year's Blood Ties, which debuted at No.25 in the UK. That record saw Warwick return home to the North of Ireland, after almost 20 years living in California.
In addition to his acclaimed solo career, Warwick is famed for his work with Black Star Riders, The Almighty, and a reformed Thin Lizzy.
