Bacardi Get Together at Electric Picnic takes shape
Get those dancing shoes ready.
Every festival needs its movers and shakers and if the line-up for the Barcadi Get Together arena is anything to go by, this year's Electric Picnic is pulling out all the stops.
Providing the dancefloor tunes across the weekend will be a cavalcade of disc-spinning talent including - deep breath - Mylo, Disco Bloodbath, Retro/Grade, Alex Metric, Horse Meat Disco, Russ Chimes, Mighty Mouse, Jaymo and Andy George, Greg Wilson, The Glimmers, Grum, Dazboy, Dave Redmond, Arveene & Misk, Frankie Bingo and Handsome Paddy.
And in an innovative and social-network conscious move, the Bacardi Get Together will bring to life a series of online ‘likes’ as chosen by Irish fans. Throughout the summer, fans have been asked what they would like to see at Electric Picnic; from favourite music to choice of cocktail and from concierge on-site service, to what closes the party. Over twelve ‘likes’ will be brought to life over the three day festival, starting on Friday September 2 when the gates open and the party starts.
