B-Boy World Championship comes to Belfast
Get your dancing shoes on for the 'Red Bull BC One Cypher' event this may!
The most prestigious 1-on-1 B-Boy World Championship is coming to Belfast's Ulster Hall on Sunday May 8, in a bid to find our top B-Boy or B-Girl.
'B-Boying' refers to the a freestyle dance movement which originated in New York in the late 1970s and the winner of this event will go on to represent Ireland at the qualifying rounds in Barcelona or Istanbul and maybe get through to the final in Russia later in the year!
MC Trix from the UK will be hosting the event, while Belfast born DJ "Timer" will be performing, with several other acts to be announced over the coming weeks.
Local B-Boys and B-Girls need to apply on line at [link]www.redbull.ie[/link] to be one of the 16 chosen to battle it out for that coveted place in the qualifying round. Deadline for entry is Monday April 18.
