Augie March make Irish debut
The Australian five-piece will stretch their wings Ireland-bound next month
Melbourne band, Augie March, make their Northern Hemisphere debut next month with a schedule that includes a November 1 performance at Vicar St.
With two stunning albums under their belt to date, Augie March have made a name for themselves by creating some of the most original indie sounds in Australia today. The poetic lyrics of singer-songwriter Glenn Richards combine with an attention to detail and musicality that often results in eight-minute epics.
Augie March make their UK and Irish debuts in November, before heading across the Atlantic for more showcases. Their new album, Strange Bird, will be released in Ireland early in 2004.
Tickets for the gig are on sale now from Vicar St.
