Ash announce intimate Irish shows
The Downpatrick band Ash have announced a trio of smaller-than-usual gigs on home turf.
With new album Twilight Of The Innocents in much need of a live airing, Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick Murray have announced more dates to follow their appearance at the Red Bull X-Fighters headliner at Slane Castle on 26 May.
Keeping the venues at a very modest size, they'll be playing the Temple Bar Music Centre, Dublin (June 4), Nerve Centre, Derry (5), Spring & Airbrake, Belfast (6).
Support will be ably provided by their pals The Black Tokens, who just last night were on opening duties for Delorentos in Belfast.
If you missed them and want to check out their brand of indie-punk tunage beforehand, they've a number of dates in the capitals beforehand: Spring & Airbrake, Belfast (16 May); Lavery's Bunker, Belfast (18), The Hub (25).
Tickets for all these gigs are available from Ticketmaster and/or all usual outlets.
