Arlo Parks announces Dublin gig
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 13, at 10am via Ticketmaster.
Indie singer-songwriter Arlo Parks has announced she will play Dublin's Ambassador Theatre on October 17.
The announcement comes as her new album, Ambiguous Desire, will be released on April 3.
"This record has desire at its centre," said Parks.
"Desire is a life force, it’s a wanting, a yearning, a momentum – we are all alive because there is something or someone we want – desire is an engine.
"But it is also mysterious, tangled, random, enlightening and HUMAN."
In January, Parks released her new single, '2SIDED'. The track discusses the hope that a lover feels as strongly for you as you do for them.
The song came alongside a Molly Burdett-directed music video, which aims to show "connection through movement, emotion and rhythm".
“At its core '2SIDED' is about yearning and tension," said Parks. "It’s about being struck by a bolt of desire and building up the courage to put language to that feeling, to make it real.”
Tickets for the Dublin gig will go on sale Friday, March 13, at 10 via Ticketmaster.
